2000 Jan 21 -- Total Lunar Eclipse

During the evening of January 20 and the early morning hours of January 21, 2000, observers in North & South America, Africa, and Europe will experience a total lunar eclipse. The total phase, which begins at 04:04 (GMT), will last for approximately 1 hour and 18 minutes, and will not be visible from India, China, or Australia.
