1999 July 28 -- Partial Lunar Eclipse

During the evening of Wednesday, July 28, 1999, observers in Asia, Australia, and North & South America will experience a partial (40%) lunar eclipse. The partial phase, which begins at 10:22 (GMT), will last for approximately 2 hours and 23 minutes, and will not be visible from Africa, Europe, or Western Asia.
